Docent Program - Now Recruiting
Now Recruiting for the Docent Program! The Park House Museum has instituted a formal docent program. Docents are an integral part of any non - profit museum; they are individuals that have been trained to lead tours of the museum and assist with various educational programs and events. Dedication to volunteer work, their extraordinary appreciation for history, education of others, and the community is what makes a PHM docent successful and essential. We are Amherstburg’s community museum and want the community to be involved in our preservation process; anyone interested in becoming a docent should contact the museum to discuss possible opportunities
The Museum is expanding its Educational Programs. Individuals who are interested in learning how to work within this program setting are encouraged to contact the Museum's curator. Individuals who are interested in joining this volunteer program must be reliable, well spoken, and have an up-to-date police clearance.
